Tennessee JCL President

Albert is a senior at Memphis University School and currently serves as President of the Tennessee Junior Classical League. He first stepped into the Latin world playing Certamen on his school's Latin I team and later represented Tennessee at the 2023 and 2024 National Conventions. He has served as Tennessee's Second Vice President—designing T-shirts, organizing spirit, and leading cheers—and now leads the state organization. Latin and the Junior Classical League have always been another family to him.

Wisconsin JCL President

Eshaan is a Latin V student at University School of Milwaukee and serves as President of the Wisconsin Junior Classical League. He discovered his passion for Latin after his school began offering it in ninth grade. Fascinated by how the classics connect to modern life—from architecture to literature—he authored *Arbor Medicinae* ("The Tree of Medicine"), a book exploring Latin roots in medical terminology. Through his leadership in WJCL, he works to share the relevance and beauty of classical languages with students across Wisconsin.

Texas JCL President

Luke serves as President of the Texas Junior Classical League and has studied Latin for eight years. He is energized by the Classics' enduring legacy in art, governance, and storytelling. He found a home in the Texas Junior Classical League, serving two years as Treasurer before stepping into the role of President. Through his leadership, he helps spread the love of Classics across the Lone Star State and foster a vibrant community of Latin students.

Virginia JCL President

Mackenzie is a Post-AP Latin and Greek II student at Flint Hill School and serves as President of the Virginia Junior Classical League. She has studied Latin since seventh grade and joined the Virginia state Certamen team that same year. She has played history and literature for Virginia's advanced team for three years, representing her state at national competitions. As both First Vice President and now President of VJCL, she continually works to foster engagement with Latin and Greek among students across Virginia.
